Aylesbury’s latest development, The Exchange was opened to the public on 8 March 2019. A stunning new public space featuring unique and inspiring contemporary artwork for everyone to enjoy, The Exchange provides a beautiful outdoor setting for Aylesbury town centre’s first purpose-built mixed restaurant, commercial and residential development.  The new five-storey scheme sits directly adjacent to the County Court and Judge’s lodging and is designed by Hunters Architects to complement these Grade II buildings.  The ground floor will have four family friendly restaurants facing the square, flexible workspace with 47 new one and two bedroom apartments in the floors above.

A stunning new public square designed by Bradley Murphy sits between the new building and the existing cinema and restaurants with new works of public art by two known artists.
CIPS were brought into advise AVDC on the finalisation of the Development Agreement, have been providing ongoing advice in relation to matters under the Development Agreement and have an going Cost Management and Employer’s Agent role throughout the construction phase of the Project.
